Privacy Notice

What we collect

Discord: your Discord ID, username, avatar and account creation date, when you log in with Discord.

Steam: your Steam ID and name. With your public Steam profile we also read the account age, GTA V hours and ban status, to spot alt and banned accounts.

Applications: your answers (including your age), quiz results, your character, a short microphone recording, and basic PC details (graphics card, processor threads, memory, operating system, screen size, browser) plus an internet speed result.

Security: your IP address is used for a short time to stop spam (request limits). Staff logins to the dashboard are logged with their IP.

Why

To review whitelist and staff applications, keep the city 18+, keep out banned players and alt accounts, give you your Discord roles, and let you into the game server once accepted.

Who sees it

Only AC Town staff given access by the owner, each with their own permissions. A summary of each application and your recording are posted in a private staff channel on our Discord.

Services we use: Discord (login, roles, messages), Steam (login and profile), Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Cloudflare (speed test) and Tebex (store payments, if you buy something). We never sell your data.

Cookies and storage

One signed login cookie keeps you logged in. Your browser also remembers your language and your unfinished application. No advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

Applications are kept while you are part of the community, so staff can see your history. Blacklist entries are kept until staff remove them. Spam-protection records are deleted within hours.

Your choices

You can ask to see your data or have it deleted at any time: open a ticket in our Discord. Deleting your data also removes your whitelist.

AC Town is for players aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly keep data about anyone younger.
